[Circa late-1950s – early 1960s all color brochure]. ‘Delightful Denver – The Friendly City in the Sky” Brochure and Guide Map courtesy of the Visitors Bureau Hospitality Center, Colfax Ave., Denver Colorado. Color illustrations and Pictorial map drawn by Harold Wolfinbarger. SIZE fully open is 10-3/4 x 16-1/2 inches. Topical Information on: Introduction; Places of Interest; Spring and Summer Entertainment. NO date but stated in text is Denver has grown into a Metropolis of over 500,000 in Population (Late 1950s to early 1960). Also there is info on the Denver Bears Baseball team of the Western League (1955 – 1962); so circa 1960 is reasonable date for brochure.
Great Pictorial Map by Wolfinbarger depicting points of Historical interest and identifying the Main thoroughfares. FINE condition.
