Here is a typical circa 1820-25 musical snuff box with original tune program label inside the lid, playing 3 lovely melodies: Waltz Paganini; Galop de Gustav; & Qui Voila ____ sont les ____(?). Mechanically in excellent condition, showing no damages, older repairs no comb, tip or cylinder pin bends or losses. Does lack it's geneva stopwork, but otherwise works & performs very nicely. The Tortoise shell case with impressed dimensional scene on top: "Vue de La Place de la Concorde a Paris" is virtually intact, excepting for the left side, which shows some damages around where the lacking tune change/repeat button control should be. With some tender loving case repair to the left side & a replacement covering over the musical movement, this will be a great addition to anyone's collection of early 19th century musical snuff boxes.
