Antique Pennsylvania State American SILK Flag Annin & Co New York Patriotic VTG

Description

Antique / Vintage Pennsylvania State  Flag  with fringes on three sides. It bears a tag that reads Annin & Co N.Y. Flag Makers. The Emblem is on both sides (double-sided) and it is chain stitched. The colors are vibrant.  It measures approximately, including the fringes, 68" x 50". It probably ws used for some ceremony or parade. It is clean, the chain stitching is intact. The fringe is loose at an area. This is pictured. There are also some slits in the silk, due to age, in a few places. Some "dust fibers" fall out when handled.This flag, from my research, is rare.  The tag indicates that it has some age as does its construction. Thanks for looking.
