Coyamito Agate is a semi precious gemstone from Mexico!
Coyamito Agate is mined less than 40 miles from the world famous Laguna Agate, in the state of Chihuahua in Northern Mexico.
It is found in multiple deposits on the Rancho Coyamito, hence the name. The ranch covers about 23,000 acres and there are at least seven separate deposits on the ranch.
In 1970 I purchased an estate of Coyamito slab sets..each nodule had between 3-5 matching slabs cut to make sets…...the slabs are approximately 4.0mm thick and vary in sizes…...I have between 300-400 individual sets of this rare agate
Additionally I have around 50 cut slabs of the larger Laguna Agate from the same estate which will be listed separately
