It is framed. The red color frame looks great and highlights the Star and lower Red Bar.
You can paint the frame a different color if you want.
The frame measures 49.5 inches wide and 36.5 inches tall. Thats pretty big so the flag underneath (if it is not cut or modified) could be huge. We think it is a 4 foot by 6 foot flag.
We've never taken the frame apart.
We don't know what the condition is of the parts of the flag that you can't see in the pictures; that is hidden by the frame.
We don't know what the condition of the back of the flag is.
