    Description

    Collection of four 19thC papier mache snuff boxes, two round and two oblong.  Each has an inlaid silver wire design on the cover.  The 2 3/4" round box has a central star and edge design - condition is excellent.  The 2 1/4" round box  has a center design and alternating edge designs - the outside edge surface is compromised about halfway around.  The larger oblong box has a hinged lid, 3.25" X 1.75" and top corner surface is compromised.  Smaller oblong box alos has hinged lid, 2.75" X 1.5" and top surface damage.  Nice little lot of antique snuff boxes at a reasonable price!
