Decorated with two Eagles and an Urn of Roses with trailing leaves on the top, and another fancy design on the bottom. No maker's marks.
Hand-scratched in double-line letters/numbers onto the front edge:
Pa 1894
Then to the right of that is scratched a more modern date:
1/1/44

Believe this is a table snuff box as the lid does not snap closed or stay closed if turned upside down. The bottom has a dent at the front edge. Surface wear, patina- we've done no cleaning or polishing. As Shown. The photos are your best guide to the condition.
