    Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORDS, DHINC EBAY WATERMARK ARE NOT ON THE ITEM ITSELF
You are bidding on an old, ORIGINAL 2 page letter from a person who was possibly a performer or at least an employee or worker of the 101 Ranch, Wild West Show.  It was sent to Fairview, Oklahoma to his, ( or her ) parents. As you know, the 101 Ranch was located in Bliss, Oklahoma, near Ponca City, and did wild west shows in the US and abroad. The letter is not dated, but the envelope was cancelled on July 13, 1925.  Each of the pages are on the 101 Ranch stationery and are VERY DECORATIVE and COLORFUL, and the envelope is also but of course is smaller than the pieces of stationery. The envelope measures approx. 9 ½” x 4 ½” and the pages measure approx. 8 3/8” x 11”.  The envelope was opened by tearing the right edge off, which of course would not have been uncommon, and is rough at the right edge, has creases and has a short tear starting at that edge. There are other creases at and near the corners, roughness along the edges, moderate darkening, foxing and spotting, but it is still very attractive. The pages of course were folded horizontally twice, since it was a letter, of course leaving a horizontal crease at each fold, small creases at the folds, wear at the corners, some creases at and near the corners, handling creases some darkening and spotting, and other normal wear. PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. Please see our other listings of vintage postcards, photos and related paper items. We are happy to combine lots, when possible, to reduce the s/h costs.  US buyer pays $ 4.00 s/h for up to 6 oz. of postcards, paper, photos and similar items, which includes tracking and cardboard reinforcement, and Oklahoma residents MUST pay applicable sales tax.  Good Luck!
