This listing is for a beautiful HANDMADE journal/junk journal.  It is made from card stock (by Recollections) over a manilla envelope (It is stiff with a little bit of give). The pages are carefully and securely stitched into a fabric reinforced spine with a waxed linen thread. It has a vintage

Front inside cover of the journal has a pocket with a tissue paper decorated glassine bag with a time-card tag inside and a decorated repair tag with a fabric and paper charm on a bulb pin.  There is a collaged corner pocket with a paper flower (rhinestone center) that has a small glassine bag with a notepad, a collaged tag with vintage lace at the top and a resin leaf charm on a bulb pin, and paper postcard envelope.  On the side of one page is a small butterfly banner paperclip holding a small bee postcard.  There is a collaged pocket with a butterfly that has a pretty yellow rhinestone body, tucked inside is a butterfly postcard with a fabric topper and a small collaged mushroom tag that has tiny trim at the bottom and a paper charm on a bulb pin at the top.  Also, there are two different cloth & paper clusters in the journal that hold a couple pieces of ephemera each.  One page has a thick card stock flower paper charm on a paperclip that holds a mushroom envelope (mushroom journaling card inside).  A decorated kraft bag is sewn into the signature and contains a guest check - postcard attached with gold & white cord and a pretty journaling card. There is a full page flip-out that has a digital image of two gorgeous birds and opposite that is a damask paper bag/tag that flips out and has a library card with a lace topper.  A pretty collaged window envelope (with a butterfly receipt inside) is held on to the side of the page with a metal butterfly charm on a paperclip. Included is a large over-the-page decoupaged butterfly napkin notepad, an expandable pocket with a large decorated coin envelope (postcard inside), a
handmade envelope sewn into the center of the signature, a
butterfly specimen belly-band that holds a large journaling tag, a collaged flip out pocket with a collaged tag, a stenciled dictionary page triple pocket with a butterfly bookmark, rose flower die-cut and a postcard with a vintage lace topped and bronze bell on a bulb pin.  Another decorated corner pocket has a collaged journaling card and a hand-sewn tissue paper postcard with a see-through pocket (contains some small ephemera).  There is a fabric ruffle, a large banner with a lace topper, a double side pocket with a receipt and a mushroom tag (with a bee paper charm attached with a metal brad). The back of the inside cover has a card stock pocket holding a kraft paper bag with a stamped dragonfly vintage dictionary paper, collaged guest check under paper and a leaf postcard inside.  Finally there is a faux-front envelope. This is an envelope that has been altered with flaps that open up and has pockets with ephemera inside. The back of the envelope is decorated with butterfly washi tape and flower stenciling.
There are various types of paper to write on: sheet music with the title "Flower Song", tea-dyed paper, graph paper, handwriting paper, vintage 1940s dictionary page, vintage butterfly page, ledger paper, vintage almanac page, tea-dyed butterfly plate page, a vintage postage stamp page, a tea-dyed gardening page, lovely bird, flower, and butterfly digital prints, and a printed flower doily.  Vintage and new laces, ribbon, and trims throughout book. There is stenciling, stamping, and washi tape. The card stock cover has a lovely bird print with yellow flower embellishments and a butterfly die-cut for accents.
A pretty lace is placed over a sturdy ribbon on the spine. It has a metal hitch post & an elastic band closure. This journal is nice and thick and weighs OVER a pound!
Journal measures approx: 6" x 9" x 2"
and has approx. 40 pages (80 fronts & backs!)
