HUGE City of Houston Texas Flag from Mayor Roy Hofheinz Estate vintage 92”x56”.
From the estate of Mayor Roy Hofheinz, and founder of the Colt 45s, Houston Astros, and the Astrodome, this is an official city flag from the 1950s era.
Does show aging in the team color, but other than that excellent condition for age.
Huge in size, measuring 92”x56”
A very rare and one of a kind Houston, Texas collectible. This piece could have possibly flown at city hall or Hofheinz’s actual estate.
I do not have any paperwork provenance, however I do have city of Houston key to the city cufflinks, shown to prove I had access to Roy’s estate. The cufflinks are personalized with his name.
