New old stock. These 4 matching hand engraved
conchos
have never been used. They are unpolished and in crisp new condition. The backs of each concho have 4 rivet studs intended for installation on leather. This matched set of 4 are all marked sterling and only one of the 4 has the Keyston Bros stamp. Keyston American made sterling is a very high quality of silver and is much softer due to the high content of silver. It displays a rich soft silver patina when polished. These may be as early as 1930 - 1940. Olson-Nolte Saddlery, also in San Francisco, often used Keyston Bros silver on their saddles.
