This is a new Toyota Land Cruiser Birfield CV Joint. This is a factory replacement CV Joint. This style Birfield Is the only type for highway driving.
The stronger joint usually want hold up to highway driving.
Rockwell hardness is critical.
If a joint isn't hard enough it will wear with everyday use.
The softer joints are stronger and will not break as easy.
The problem is they will wear out under everyday use.
The reason is that the land cruiser is very heavy and is full time 4x4.
