Dedicated to Taleju, also a form of goddess Darga, this temple is only open to the public one day a year. The Kings of Nepal cannot rule without the favor of this goddess. It was built by the King Mahendra Malla. Two Yaks with Mount Everest in the Himalayas on reverse.  Watermark: King Gyanendra (3rd image).  2nd image note under ultraviolet (UV) light showing security inks.
