    Description

These are never before heard interviews, of Neil Diamond, that were recently discovered. The interviewer is a Canadian Broadcaster named Michael Canterbury. The two sit down for casual, enlightening and informative interviews talking about his life and more. [the track list below will have details] These have never aired.
What you are bidding on are the cassettes (5 of them at various lengths noted below and in the pictures), the cleaned up and enhanced audio digitization placed on a USB thumb drive with full rights to the content. The audio quality is clear and intelligible especially considering it’s age. There are eight total audio files from the different sides of the cassettes.
This is a series of interviews on 5 original cassettes,
Included are a few dozen pages of typed interview transcriptions. One is the recorded interview here, but many more pages are at least one more interview (but not recorded here). Some of the audience interview quotes are transcribed, too. I estimate about 20-40 pages of Neil interviews, as there is some duplication.
[This auction will include transcriptions of three interviews with Neil, but none of the audience commentary and so forth that's on the other tapes]

Religion/belief, spiritual vs practical, materialism in his generation, public figures are BS, not a communicative person.

First recorded song, first session, songs in his catalog and repertoire, about Linda Ronstadt, his new album, how it came about, African Trilogy concept, John F Kennedy - what he meant to Neil. His death, reflecting on him. JFK vs Johnson vs Nixon (who is President when interview was done). On being in love.
