    Description

    Folky papier mache' snuffbox, probably American or English, circa early 19th Century.
    The lid is hand painting with a geometric design featuring a bright orange pinwheel in the center.
    Overall good condition, with a crack in the inside bottom that doesn't go through, and some wear and scuffing to the paint and laquer.
    Measures about 2 1/4" diameter by 3/4" thick.
