    Description

    This is a used sample of antique barbed wire fencing. This sample features a John C. Perry patent, dated August 24, 1897. This wire is called "Perry's Humped Welded Pin Barb on Two Parallel Lines, by collectors. (No listing Found). This wire features two round line wires, that run parallel to each other and are two inches apart. Barbs are two pointed made from a round pin laid across both lines and welded at junction. Center of each pin is humped. This sample is 18" in length and has nine barbs,. Barbs are well spaced, and cut is fairly well centered. Wire shows age wear, with light pitting. There are no bent, broken or missing barbs. Wire is in very good used condition. There are no off odors. I have listed other wires, both as auction and fixed price listings.
