    Description

    This table size snuff box is truly amazing in subject and quality. It has a pewter lid and box and measures a large 4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches high. The handsome dog wears a nice buckle collar and shows a little bit of its teeth. The hinge is in good working order and the cover stays closed it just wiggles a little being a little out of round not unusual for age which I believe to be from the 1800’s. There is some minor wear to the box which is commensurate with use see photos. A wonderful and rare collectible to be the highlight of someones collection.
