    Description

Here's a huge slab of very rare material discovered in 1900 in the old copper mines of Mohawk Michigan. It's a combination of rare copper arsenide minerals and copper in a quartz matrix. The material hasn't been mined in 70 years, so it's rare to find a nice slab. This piece shows a nice pattern of shiny metallic minerals and white quartz.
NOTE - Mohawkite contains arsenic-copper minerals.. proper care should be taken while grinding, sanding or polishing.
