Description
We have for sale this quintessential mid-century modern set of coffee mugs, a creamer and one large platter/tray designed by the renowned Sascha Brastoff.Brastoff
was known for his decorative ceramics, enamels on copper and accessories; designs including hand-painted bowls, vases, figurines and ashtrays.
Sascha was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1917, and attended the Western Reserve School of Art.
He headed Sascha Brastoff of California Inc., from approximately 1953 until 1973. He died in 1993.
This set is in excellent condition. There is one very small chip to the base of one of the coffee mugs (see very close up photos/barely visible when the mug is upright) but, otherwise there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs to any of the pieces.
Each piece is signed " Sascha B."
The 1 platter/tray measures 17" (seventeen inches) across.
The 4 mugs measure 5" (five inches) tall.
The 1 jug measures 3" (3 inches) tall.
This set would make a wonderful addition to any mid-century modern decor or as a super gift for someone with a passion for MCM design.

Insurance and signature will be included in the handling costs for purchased items in order to protect against loss, damage, theft or misplaced packages.
All items will be shipped with insurance, regardless of the sale price.

We list our shipping method as USPS although we will occasionally use other services (UPS, FedEx etc.) should they be more cost-effective, safer, and/or more convenient while still providing needed insurance options.
Please note: heavy items, fragile pieces, and fine jewelry will have higher domestic shipping costs based on the packaged weight and/or value of the item.
Shipping & handling fees will be calculated dependent on the item's final weight, the cost of insurance, packaging, and destination.
Some of our shipping methods for larger items (furniture, large signs etc.) include ForwardAir, which does not ship door to door. However, they do have outlets all over the country. If you have a shipping method and/ or company that is safe while being more cost-effective and/or convenient we will do our best to accommodate

Shipping costs may vary slightly higher or lower from the eBay calculator.
Except for flat fee shipping, a
ccurate shipping costs will be provided when the auction ends.
We are shipping valuable pieces of history and therefore, we package them as securely as possible to ensure their safe arrival including double boxing or crating where appropriate which may add weight to the final total cost of shipping. In which case, normal shipping costs will not apply.
Please do not include shipping in your offer. We will not honor an offer that includes shipping.
