    Description

    Offered here is a classic example of the enamel work of Sascha Brastoff.  Brastoff's work earned a prominent place in the decor of mid century modern homes and its popularity continues unabated.  This dish or ashtray is in remarkably fine condition suggesting it was seldom if ever used except as a decorative accessory.  The design is quintesentially MCM, as are the colors.  Signed "SaschaB" on the front and etch marked on the underside "105 AC" (not sure about the second letter - see photo.) This dish measures approximately 5.25" across.   The felt pads are intact but quite worn.
