This Uniden Loud & Clear Cordless Phone and Answering Machine Base Station works just perfectly! All functions have been tested with my land line!
When the pone rings, the yellow bar on the base station and the yellow portion at the top of the handset flash!
When there is an unheard message on the machine, the yellow light at the top of the handset flashes in a different pattern than the ringing flash pattern.
When you push a button on the handset, the number you press is announced in a female voice through the phone's speaker. In other words, when you dial a phone number, you can hear the numbers that you are dialing.
The battery in this phone is brand new! In addition to the brand new battery that is in the phone, I am including another brand new battery as a backup.
The battery in the phone will be disconnected during shipping to prevent the phone from making noise while in transit. You will have to simply plug the battery into the terminal when you get it. the terminal is marked red and black.
