The size of the handle that screws into the pump is 3/8" NPT Male.  The other end of the handle, which is called the vent end, is 1/2" NPT Male.  The foam cushion slides over this handle and the black cap screws onto the 1/2" NPT size to keep the foam cushion in place, you will also get a red cap to keep the oil of moisture.
This kit consists of (4) parts:
METAL HANDLE, 3/8 NPT MALE x 1/2 NPT MALE.
BLACK FOAM CUSHION
BLACK RETAINING RING
RED HANDLE CAP
