Vintage 3' x 5' Flag, WASHINGTON, BULL DOG, Bel Air or Havre de Grace Racetrack

Here's a huge three-foot by five-foot vintage flag that says WASHINGTON on it. This was made by Bull Dog Bunting and appears to be from around the 1940s. This was likely used at Havre de Grace and/or Bel Air Racetrack in Maryland. This comes from the estate of the Heighe family, who were heavily involved in horse racing at both tracks and this came from an auction that had numerous other artifacts and photos from both tracks.
This does have a few small holes in it as we have tried to show in the pictures but overall in really nice condition with no fraying at the end and very little staining or discoloration. This would have been to highlight Washington County in Maryland. The text is all nicely stitched with individual lettering and it is just one-sided, so you can see the text on the other side but it's obviously backwards.
