Wonderful Federal - Period Snuff Box

Description

Wonderful Federal - Period Snuff Box. Made of silky burl wood, with horn shield inlay in cover, and lined in tortoise shell, this piece is a fine example of early - American tobacciana. Hinges on lid are tight, as is the fit of the lid itself. Some minor separation of woodgrain has occurred, as would be expected with age, and can be seen in the pictures. Certainly does not detract from the piece, nor it's structural integrity. A fine addition to any collection. Thanks for looking,  and be sure to check out my other listings!
